It has been wonderful opening the studio doors and welcoming our dancers back for Term 3!
This is always an exciting term at Studio 58. Alongside continuing to build technique, strength, confidence and friendships, our classes will gradually begin working towards our end-of-year concert in December. 🎭✨
There is still plenty of learning and preparation ahead, but every exercise, new skill and class routine helps our dancers take another small step towards the stage.
As a reminder, the 2026 concert has been booked for December 6th at the Marion Domain Theatre.
As our preschool classes continue to grow, we’ve made a few changes to create an even better experience for our little dancers and their families.
🩰 Intro to Dance is now a 45-minute class!
Our 3–5 year old dancers will now enjoy:
✨ 20–22 minutes of Ballet
✨ 20–22 minutes of Jazz
This gives our teachers more time to develop both classical ballet foundations and energetic jazz skills in a fun, age-appropriate way, helping dancers build confidence, coordination and a love of movement.
🚪 Easier drop-off and pick-up
We’ve also introduced a 5-minute gap between our preschool classes to make arrivals and departures smoother and less rushed for families.
We have also added more Preschool Dance classes on Mondays!
9:30 am – Dance with Me
10:05 am – Tumbling Tots
These classes join our existing Tuesday and Wednesday preschool timetable, giving families even more flexibility to find a day that suits them.
We’re looking forward to a wonderful term of ballet, jazz, tap, contemporary, jazz funk, acro, preschool dance and plenty of concert excitement!
