What is Cecchetti Ballet?
Cecchetti Ballet is a classical ballet training method and technique developed by Italian dancer and teacher Enrico Cecchetti. Renowned for its structured and rigorous approach, the Cecchetti method emphasizes precision, balance, and purity of line, combining artistic expression with strong technical discipline.
The method is built on a progressive system of exercises designed to develop strength, flexibility, musicality, and a deep understanding of ballet theory. It includes a clear syllabus and examinations, making it widely respected in both professional dance schools and studios around the world.
Cecchetti training helps dancers become well-rounded artists with a strong foundation, enabling them to adapt easily to various ballet styles and choreography. It continues to inspire generations of dancers and teachers, remaining a cornerstone of classical ballet education today.
