What is Glenn Wood Tap?
The Glenn Wood Tap Syllabus is the perfect pathway for your child’s tap dance journey. Designed to inspire confidence, creativity, and precision, this structured program offers progressive levels that build technique and prepare dancers for the stage.
The levels are made up of Barre Activities, Combinaton Steps, Individual Steps, Turning Technique Activities, and Performance Routines. Students will gain confidence and progress rapidly while developing a deep love for tap. (https://glennwoodtap.com/)
Exams
Our students have the option to participate in exams each year, demonstrating their knowledge of the relevent syllabus level. Exams usually occur during Term 2 or Term 3, parents will be notified once registrations are open. Exam participation is not manditory.
Uniform
Exams have a set uniform. Students are expected to wear either the same uniform or similar items of clothing to class where they can move freely. Hair is required to be tied back at all times.

Timetable
Tuesday:
- 3:45pm – Preschool/Minis/Juniors (2 – 11yrs)
- 8:15pm – Seniors/Masters (16+ yrs)
Wednesday:
- 5:15pm – Juniors/Intermediate (9 – 15yrs)
